Special Feature: Q&A with White House Official On COVID-19 Response

The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the economy to it's core, but the role of logistics providers has never been more instrumental.

FreightWaves Emily Szink, EVP of Content, sat down with Ron Klain, Revolution's General Counsel and Former Ebola Response Coordinator at the White House, as part of FreightWaves Live @ Home, the first-ever fully online, fully free conference for the transportation and logistics industries.  

Ron Klain was confident in saying it's logistics providers that beat pandemics, but also noted that overcoming the virus won't come without challenges and innovation. "Reallocating critical medical supplies and getting e-commerce shipments to people sheltering at home during the pandemic will require even greater logistics innovation, but the job will be complicated as different parts of the nation reopen on different schedules, and then experience second, and possibly, third waves of the outbreak that force shutdowns again."
