Mountain Valley Express is a leader in providing creative solutions with customer service as a priority to meet their customers' transportation and logistics needs.  With years of experience, a dedicated staff, and up-to-date technology, Mountain Valley has an extensive profile of services readily available that include warehousing and distribution, full truckloads, less-than-truckloads, custom invoicing and auditing, optimization and engineering solutions, and packaging and shipping supplies.

Mountain Valley needed a sustainable and scalable option to increase operational efficiency, including improving line haul planning and streamlining workflows. Having already successfully partnered with The DDC Group for Freight Billing and Customer Care, expanding their service agreement to include DDC Sync was a natural next step.

The Challenge

Mountain Valley Express is a regional carrier, and what drives value to their customers is being next-day, so minutes matter. They needed a quicker way for data to be visible for better time management and planning. During the launch of DDC Sync, an additional need for parcel/label scanning was also identified. This would allow Mountain Valley to streamline its process by only using one application to capture freight and parcel shipments.

The Solution

The DDC Group customized DDC Sync to meet Mountain Valley's unique requirements, enhancing the application to process both freight and parcel shipments. This adaptation resulted in a more advanced and tailored solution designed specifically for their needs. Leveraging intuitive data capture technology, DDC Sync digitizes freight bills at the point of collection, complete with driver GPS tagging to ensure accurate and reliable tracking information.
