Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been a pillar the DDC organization since its founding. Over the past 30 years, the company has performed countless acts of service and presented numerous donations to support a diverse range of initiatives for good in all areas where their teams live and work- from providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to truck drivers during the COVID-19 pandemic, to building expansions for hospitals, filling libraries in schools, and creating a 501(c)(3) organization to fuel the rehabilitation and recovery of the Philippines after the 2013 typhoon Haiyan, and much more.

COVID-19 Prevention & Control
Combatting A Global Pandemic
To promote effective COVID-19 prevention and control in remote areas, DDC rallied sponsor partners, such as San Miguel Corporation, to join us in overcoming logistical and technical challenges to fly medical equipment, properly trained healthcare professionals, sanitation equipment, testing supplies, and PPE into the Leyte province and launch an affordable, publicly accessible testing lab.

DDC believes that every child should have the opportunity to learn, spark interest in talents, hone skills, and harness the power of knowledge. That’s why we build schools, expand classrooms, stock libraries, and equip computer labs in rural communities, where education is more than early development, but the key to a society’s true social and economic advancement.
ICOT-ICT Program
Income Creating Opportunities Thru Technology Project
A known advocate of education, DDC co-founder, former Secretary of Energy and former Governor of Leyte, Jericho “Icot” Petilla began the ICOTP-ICT, (Income Creating Opportunities thru Technology Project) to equip eligible high school scholars with the proper training and skills in information and communications technology to become employable or eligible to work as a computer programmer.
Yabba Dabba Doo:
Charity Starts At Home
Used by 120 patients daily, the radiology department touches the lives of every patient at The Christie by providing accurate diagnostics & imaging. As a private event held annually by DDC’s CEO Jan Trevalyan, the Yabba Dabba Doo the Christie Charity in a commitment to raising funds specifically for providing these patients with better facilities and technology.
