9 international divisions of The DDC Group have come together to share concepts & ideas in the most remote, northerly point in the United Kingdom: Ackergill Tower in Wick, Scotland for the DDC Group Summit 2017.
Good work was happening up there along the misty north sea!
Look at this fabulous location in the beautiful Highlands! Starting with the castle’s extraordinary setting overlooking the rugged Caithness coast to the Orkneys, we couldn`t be short of inspiration.
Day 1 of The DDC Group Summit opened with the inspiring speech of The DDC Group Board: Brett Trevalyan, Jan Trevalyan and Jericho Petilla.
We were lucky to deliver our speech along with the presentation of DDC DS` range of services. Our main goal was to explain that the Internet has become a great platform for sales, marketing campaigns, and today practically no business can operate without a well-developed digital presence.
We also discussed main challenges of a business of our kind and ways to improve our financial stats in 2018.
After this, it was time for a falconry event! It was a great opportunity to get up close and personal with majestic birds of prey like hawks, falcons and owls.
Day 2 of the Summit was full of bright presentations. Colleagues from DDC OS UK, MLS & FPO gave their speeches on the achieved goals and future growth strategies.
After a day of productive meetings, we had a team-whiskey tasting at The Old Pulteney Distillery In Wick. Pulteney distillery is one of the most northerly distilleries on the Scottish mainland. The extreme location and unique stills have resulted in a Single Malt Scotch Whisky that is bursting with the power and subtlety of the sea.
The day finished with a fantastic Old Scottish Imperial Dinner in the Ackergill Tower Castle:
Day 3 Of The DDC Group Summit: Our American colleagues from DDC USA & FPO, KPO units gave their speeches. There were also some exciting news from our Group Marketing team! In January you will notice a new look and feel across DDC as a whole. The DDC Group will be showcasing the new branding which was created with the intent of making units better connected.
After the final meetings we had an excellent afternoon of archery:
& skeet/clay pigeon shooting:
followed by a Grand Casino Royale Evening in the Castle.
What a great fun it was!
We would like to thank everyone in The DDC Group team who helped to make the summit such a success. We would like to express our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the Ackergill Tower excellent event management services.
